PagineGialle Mobile Coming to Android Tablets: Searches Made Even Easier and More Intuitive by Exploiting Tablets' Large Screens

The application is also integrated with the most commonly used VoIP apps, such as Skype, and makes it easy for users to find pharmacies open in their area or consult cinema schedules

Turin, 18 January 2012 — Seat PG is proud to announce the new version of PagineGialle Mobile optimized for Android tablets, available for download free of charge from Android Market.

The new version of PagineGialle Mobile, the app that makes it easy for users to find detailed information about stores, services and businesses wherever they go, now features an innovative interface capable of fully exploiting the potential offered by tablets' large screens.

In particular, with the new App the screen is divided into two separate areas: on the right is a map, showing the location of your results, while on the left you can view the complete list of the services you were looking for, making it even faster to view the full search and get a clear idea of where they are and how to get there.

After they have viewed the map and possible itinerary, the new app allows users to connect to Google Navigator to be guided to their chosen destination.

"Seat PG's applications allow users to find information about stores and businesses quickly from any location. We are always working on improving our apps by fully exploiting the potential of cutting-edge devices," commented Maria Bruna Olivieri, Head of Seat PG's Web & Mobile Business Unit. "This new version, which has been optimized for tablet screens, makes the search experience even more effective and satisfying, allowing users on the go to use it for all their work and leisure needs."

Furthermore, the new PagineGialle Mobile is integrated with the most widespread VoIP applications — such as Skype and Viber — and allows them to be used to make calls to the telephone numbers located thanks to the app.

It's easy to locate the nearest open pharmacies quickly and view full movie programming with detailed information about cinemas in the area (show times) and films currently showing, including the plot, actors and posters.

A new service developed in collaboration with Booking is already available for a large number of hotels, allowing users to make hotel reservations directly from the PagineGialle Mobile application by simply entering the arrival and departure dates, the app will check hotel availability and book a room with a mere click.
