SEAT Pagine Gialle enhances its mobile strategy by collaborating with the mobile telephony operator

Turin, November 3rd, 2009 – SEAT Pagine Gialle announces the integration of its PagineGialle Mobile application in Vodafone 360 devices, making it easier for users to search for information such as the closest pharmacy, the favourite restaurant, or useful phone numbers to solve small emergencies.PagineGialle Mobile’s simple, straightforward interface combined with the innovative technology of Vodafone 360 enables users to fully leverage the device’ features including the touch screen display, GPS navigation and high speed Internet connectivity.

The huge wealth of information available from Pagine Gialle, with over 3.8 million businesses, stores and service providers, becomes immediately accessible through the display of the new Vodafone 360 devices, with the possibility of running a search entering just a company name or one or more keywords describing what is being searched. PagineGialle Mobile’s search engine enables users to identify categories, keywords, industries, brands and much more, always ensuring timely and accurate responses.

PagineGialle Mobile is available at no extra charge from Vodafone 360 application store. It offers direct access to ten macro-categories specifically defined within Pagine Gialle to respond to the most common mobility needs, like Eating and sleeping, Moving and travel, Grocery shopping, Living and decorating, Shopping and clothing, Entertainment, Services,  Sports, health and personal care, Public utility, and Emergency. Additionally, it enables to freely search the Pagine Gialle database.

Thanks to the Global Positioning System of the new Vodafone 360 Samsung H1 phone, it is possible to launch searches from the exact current position or by specifying a location or address. Every result is highlighted on the map together with a detailed sheet containing essential elements; the phone number provided can be called simply touching the display, the address points to a location on the map, the e-mail address or web site are immediately available to the e-mail application and Internet browser.
