With a more detailed map and a completely redesigned graphic layout, the portal has been integrated with Paginegialle.it and Paginebianche.it to enhance users’ browsing experience
Turin, 6 October 2008 — SEAT Pagine Gialle has presented the new
Tuttocitta.it, the
most popular street atlas in Italy, which is now perfectly integrated with the
PagineGialle.it and
PagineBianche.it
portals.
Tuttocitta.it allows
users to map out driving and pedestrian routes with utmost precision, offering interactive maps of
all of Italy, which can zoom in to 12 levels of detail. The new graphic layout, in line with
PagineGialle.it and
PagineBianche.it,
makes the website that much simpler and easier to use, thus improving the web experience of users.
Tuttocitta.it is
compatible with all currently available browsers, and can easily be used with any PC and any
internet connection.
The home page of the new
Tuttocitta.it website
features a search field, which users can use to either locate an address or create a personalized
route to reach it. The results are displayed with superior accuracy, indicating the main points of
interest along the way and, if the user prefers, the businesses included in the
PagineGialle
databases.
“With Tuttocitta.it we have completed the overhaul of our service websites, which generate
total traffic of 340 million hits each year,” commented Massimo Castelli, Italy General
Manager for SEAT Pagine Gialle.
"Today PagineGialle.it, PagineBianche.it and Tuttocitta.it are integrated on a single platform
that can be reached from a single access point. This feature makes the service even more effective
and immediate for businesses, institutions, professionals and private customers. Our efforts have
been very well received by our users. For example, since the new version has been online, the
traffic on PagineGialle.it has reported double-digit growth, with an important benefit for our
advertisers.”
The new
Tuttocitta.it is
particularly useful for planning trips on foot or by car, and offers detailed information such as
the distances from place to place, the road signs, and graphic symbols at the intersections, as
well as the location of airports, train and bus stations, underground terminals and harbours. Users
can plan their trip by choosing the street with the least traffic or only toll-free motorways.
Among the many new features, Seat has enhanced the maps with more information relating to
traffic-controlled zones in many large Italian cities and, for Milan, with the boundaries of the
areas subject to Ecopass fees.
The maps have been optimised to print out even clearer. This is especially important for
people who travel by car and need to check a map while they are driving.
Visitors to the website can also download free of charge PDF copies of the 35 printed
versions of
Tuttocittà available in
Italy.
Thanks to the integration with other SEAT Pagine Gialle tools,
Tuttocittà.it makes it
possible to locate over 3.8 million business, hotels, restaurants, and shops present in the
PagineGialle
databases.
The website also gives access to
PagineGialle Visual to display the routes using high
definition aerial orthophotos, for a virtual tour of main Italian cities and checking traffic and
weather conditions in real time.
The platform that integrates the new
Tuttocitta.it,
PagineGialle.it and
PagineBianche.it
websites represents an important opportunity for visibility for SEAT Pagine Gialle customers, also
thanks to even better indexing on the main search engines.
