Lino Benassi, born in 1943.
He worked from 1963 to 1994 at the Banca Commerciale Italia as a Director and, from 2000 to 2001, as Chief Executive Officer; from 1995 to 2000 he was Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of INA S.p.A.; from 2000 to 2002 he was CEO of IntesaBci. He was nominated Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic in 2003. Mr Benassi's chief appointments were as President of Caboto Sim, President and General Manager of Banque Sudameris (Paris), Vice President of Banco di Napoli Holding, member of the Banco di Napoli board (Member of the Executive Committee), member of the BNL board (Member of the Executive Committee), Vice President of ABI, Vice President of Compagnie Monegasque de Banque, Chairman of Toro Assicurazioni S.p.A.
At the moment he is Chairman of Banca Italease, Director of De Agostini SpA, Credit Suisse (Italy) S.p.A., DeA Capital SpA, Zignago Vetri SpA.
