Roberto Besso

R.Besso Roberto Besso was born in Turin on 03.11.1960. Degree in Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic of Turin, postgraduate course of 6 months of Management Company in ISVOR.

He began his career in 1987, in Fiat SpA - Defense Systems in Strategic Marketing and as support to institutions in the sector.

In 1991 he joined Kimberly Clark (famous multinational for brands like Scottex Tissue, Kleeenex, Scottonelle and Huggies diapers) as Project Leader Logistics, then started the experience in sales, as a Key Account Manager. In 1996 became Logistics and Customer Service Director Italy, creating and implementing a framework of integrated and Customer Oriented Supply Chain, aimed at optimizing the whole supply chain costs.

In 2000 he served as Business Development Director, with responsibility for defining the business strategy and logistics for the acquisition of the company Linostar and launch in Italy of Huggies diapers. He then became Sales Director Italy and in 2001 he is promoted to General Manager Consumer Italy, with responsibility for profit and turnover of approximately € 600Mio. In 2004 assumes the responsibility of Greece and became Managing Director in both countries. In 2008, while maintaining the position of AD, leaded a European priority project linked to the Global Integated Value Chain Strategy.

In June 2008 he joined Valtur SpA, a leader society in Italy in the Sector of Tourism Village/Village-Resort, as Group Managing Director, with responsibility for operating profit and turnover growth for all structures, national and international.

In March 2010 joined Seat appointed to the position of Transformation Management Director, with responsibility for direct government of interfunctional projects and the Business Transformation model of Company, heading the cost management activity, redesign and process optimization, change management and related organizational development.
In February 2011 he assumed the role of Customer Care Director with the objective of ensuring the integrated management of post-sales customer relationship services, in order to improve customer satisfaction.
