We choose to focus the sales channels to customer segments by providing our
customers three different dedicated channels (Large & Top Customers, SME Customers, Local
Customers).
The
SME & Local Customers Business Unit follows the segment of Small and
Medium Enterprises and local economic operators.
The
CBU, headed by Antonio Macrillò, aims to develop customer segments "business" -
consisting of B2B and B2C operators that represent the major part of Italian economic base - and
grow Seat in the so-called “urban” market ie the local market, which is used by the retail trade up
to professionals, clients who relate primarily to a client near them at the neighborhood level
city.
The national territory is divided into five Sales Area Directions, each of which is
subdivided into "markets", areas of uniform spatial features, complexity and potential customers,
assigned to dedicated market manager that manage the field sales agency force. In order to
guarantee a more capillary garrison of the market, the CBU have a teleselling channel mainly
dedicated to local clients and to servicing activities for field sales force.
The Business unit oversees the design of the commercial offer (bundle of products, pricing,
promotions) by customer segment, depending on customer needs. It also manages the planning of sales
force targets, builds their portfolios, defines the systems incentive and sales contests,
guarantees sales training and coaching activities. It develops systems for planning
activities and also provides assistance to the sales network for contractual issues, administration
and use of information systems.
