Organisational Development and Personal Services
In 2007, SEAT Pagine Gialle S.p.A. was involved in activities and initiatives promoting the
development of personal and professional skills of its employees and salesforce.
The main activities are listed below:
- SEAT enhanced the
Performance Review activities of its employees. This process was supported in the early
months of the year by information meetings aimed at reviewers and those being reviewed, aimed at
disseminating the culture of performance assessment.
The
Performance Review process was extended to the salesforce and witnessed a 54% increase in
behavioural assessment, largely thanks to the option to fill out the new evaluation forms directly
online.
- Supporting the development and skills enhancement of the salesforce of the SME and Local Sales
Department, SEAT has introduced new initiatives to better position the company with its intended
target, through
employer branding actions at universities, in the national press and in the main web
recruiting portals targeted at young people.
- SEAT organised the
Visioning Tour, a travelling workshop on the future of SEAT, in order to define the
strategic positioning of SEAT for the 2007-2015 period, increasing the level of identification of
employees and agents with the company. The workshop stopped in 16 cities across Italy. A total of
500 individuals were involved, including employees and agents.
- SEAT Web TV continued throughout 2008, the business television dedicated exclusively to SEAT
personnel, which has gradually become an established corporate communications tool, relaying the
events and happenings most relevant for the Company.
Through a dynamic and eye-catching structure, Web TV informs, updates and entertains,
highlighting the most relevant facts for the company and expanding information by gathering
first-hand information from the territory, to relay what is going on in the Seat world and
broadcast it live directly by its protagonists.
- The new company Intranet network, Yess, was launched in January. The network aims to support
Corporate Identity processes and was designed as a social network tool to share knowledge and
skills, improving the usability of information present and streamlining the services offered by
integrating individual skills and knowledge
